Ya it doesnt matter if I just look at the front monitor. I still get dizzy feeling. I will get used to it I guess. As for the OC of the card, I am not sure how to do it right but I want to get more out of this card. I have seen a lot of threads about people having issues after doing the unofficial overclock. I just dont want to flush 300 bucks down the toilet by voiding the warranty. If I can just raise up the core clock to 950 and the memory clock to 1400 or so without worry I would do it. I am not informed enough to know how it all affects the cards stability or how to adjust voltage the right way or even know what to look for if something is not going right. I was planning on getting another 6970 or even a 6990 by the time Battlefield 3 comes out to use in cross fire with my 6970.

well you are increasing your resolution 3x. 5760x1080 is demanding, i have 2 6970s at 1020/1500 and i still have issues with some games. I will actually more than likely be stepping down to a single 30" cause i dont want to have to upgrade my video cards every 6 months

These cards really need a partner when used under eyefinity. There just isn't enough horsepower for all the pixels you're dealing with. If you're thinking about a 2nd card, do it.

Getting dizzy in E3 (eyefinity 3 monitors)... you probably need get your fps numbers up.

You don't need AB to overclock to 950/1450, just use Overdrive app built into the driver.

Should it be pretty fool proof taking it to 950/1450 in overdrive? I know these cards have a bit of safety built into them to prevent them totally failing.

Ya I am going to give this eyefinity thinga about a week to make me a believer. If not then I am returning the monitors and getting a single 30" 120hz monitor. I may end up getting the Viewsonic 27". It has 1ms response time and great looking in person.

^^There's now way in hell I'd ever give up my 3 screens... except to get bigger ones!

It's should take you all of 10 seconds to figure it out. Check enable overdrive, raise Powertune +20, raise your clocks a lil bit at a time, jumps of 10mhz or so. Back down a lil bit if you encounter a crash, etc.

any time i pushed mine too hard when i was testing it would freeze but then the display driver would recover. Also unless you start messing with the voltage its pretty hard to kill them, just watch temps

Ive had eyefinity for a while now and its great when it works lol. But game like SC2 where it doesnt work at all or any game that isnt cutting edge with FOV issues are annoying. Also stepping down to a single 30" is less strain on my GPUs which is nice because mine struggle as it is

well I tried putting power to 20% and then kicked it to 920/1385 and ran heaven 2.5 and it made no difference at all. Actually the last test I ran it was worse than stock clocks. Not sure what this means.

I know what you mean. When I first fired up black ops the FOV was all messed up and the image was squashed looking. I found out some games wont work right in eyefinity without a hack.lol After that it was fine.

thats weird, do you happen to have any kind of benchmarks that you can run at default clocks and then bump them up and see how the reflects in the score?

Also my cards run at 924/1425 stock so you shouldnt have to worry about damaging them at those speeds (mine are stock voltage at those speeds) and i was able to get to 975 on stock voltage
