LOL, on a side note I've been wanting to go see a shuttle launch up close before they terminate the program since I'm in Florida, but I hear it's not all it's cracked up to be.
Maybe he had to go spit on Osama, because it would be meaningless to spit on the actua grave.

The launch would be pretty cool, though it would only be visible for a short time - but nothing like the mighty Saturn V, which was epic in the day.

Too bad they are not replacing the Shuttle. The Lockheed one, whatever it was called, was pretty cool looking. The Shuttle brings back memories of my first job after college, when our shop built a spectrometer that flew on the Shuttle twice.

I really don't find anything fundamentally wrong with that really. International cooperation concerning space travel/exploration is a good thing. Don't get me wrong here though, I do fully expect the U.S. to develop the next "18 wheeler of space exploration".

True I'm just miffed that Obama killed off Constellation. He can rot for that.

There aren't any other nations besides Russia with a manned space program. China, Japan and India are working on one and China has put a man in orbit already but they aren't exactly at the level to participate yet. The entirety of Europe doesn't have any program. ESA have recently participated with us, but have no program themselves. It is quite disheartening to see the lack of interest and participation in many "First world" countries.

Osama was buried at sea. All President Obama has to do is drive to the beach, same as me, and spit in the ocean and dedicate it to Osama.
