Same here. I'd prefer my laptop to be something mobile, light with long lasting battery life. So if you don't have to buy a gaming laptop at all cost, consider the Thinkpad X220 or Edge E220s for around $1000, then get the other $2500 to invest in a gaming desktop. Keep in mind that dual 6970M setup is just as equivalent as one GTX 570, and for $2500, heck you can even build a monster rig with i7 2600k and GTX 590 or even GTX 580 SLI/HD 6990 + 6970 tri-fire.

I know someone who is going to purchase one of these Clevo units, but its not for games. Its for business use for animation and rendering. They need a portable unit, not a desktop for demonstrations and work.
