Im talking about multilayer only I dont have the time to play single player in this game. They took out some of the best units, lurkers are gone??? Why?? They were so good. Also the zerg suicide air bombers are gone, and changed to anti ground. Every unit is anti ground. There is almost no anti air in SC2. Where as SC1 had a better balance of air and ground. WHY CANT COLOSSUS'S SHOOT AIR???? I mean the most advanced race, and the thing is as tall as air units, so why cant they shoot air?? wouldnt the most advance race, think that maybe they should have anti air, on a unit that can be shot by air?? I think thats really stupid. The only race I didnt get bored of is zerg, but why do you have to click the queen every time to make more larva?? shouldnt there be a setting to put it on auto. Why make me click that 100 times per game. I really dont think this game lives up to the name of star craft two. I mean 3 races?? really?? Thats like if Diablo 2, only had three races. And the same races as the first one. Diablo 2 would be hated for doing that, cuz its stupid. Why recycle everything?? why not one new race?? Until there is some new stuff I'm calling it star craft 2010.
I'm not sure if you're a troll or very very dense.
The reason there are only three races are because it's impossible to balance more. Look at Warcraft III. They tried it once and it didn't work. This game was meant to be a BALANCED E-SPORT, not a casual funfest like call of duty. That's why you have to inject every queen manually. The collosus is an over-powered unit already, why would it shoot up?
There is plenty of Anti-Air in this game.
Theres so many things wrong with your post, I don't even...

I played the single player on Starcraft, finished the game and loved it. SC2 - got bored real quick and deleted the game.
To each their own, there are plenty of games I like but others think suck. It's always been that way.
The problem is that developers are lazy (Bioware, Blizzard, EA, Crytek, etc) and just want to throw something together and make money on it, rather than any real innovation. You don't have to change the whole game to innovate, just keep it fresh and new.
I didn't see anything fresh and new in SC2, just a rehash with shiny graphics. If I wanted a rehash I would just go back and play the original again, since it was better and save $60.
If you think zerg rush is all anyone did online, then Starcraft:BroodWar wouldn't be the most successful e-sport of all time. Just because YOU don't know how to hold off a 4 pool because you can't scout, doesn't mean anyone with a will to get better won't learn to scout and counter every cheese strategy and progress into the midgame. I won't address the singleplayer as that doesn't matter unless you're a casual.
What they added to SC2 was to make the interface easier to control. Multi building select, better pathing, better AI, easier macro and all these things makes the game a lot more accessible than its predecessor.Edited by Twistacles - 5/2/11 at 10:32am
