Cool, thanks. From comparing screenshots, I can't really tell that ubersampling makes a difference. Still, it sorta pisses me off that this will be the first time I'll have to turn something off to run a game on my system. Used to maxing it out, so it's just annoying at some geek-ego level...

I'm rocking the game maxxed 1080p without Ubersampling. But During the start, Geralts skin... looks blotchy and flat, where his scars are they look muddy. Anyone know what the issue with that is?

Well, I thoroughly thought the game beautiful, as did everyone on here, it looks like.

However, I thought the game was incredibly short, comparatively to how long the first game was. Granted this is only 2 out of 16 supposed endings.

Basically - I feel like my FPS are too low. The game is very playable and never choppy, but I'm often dropping to 25-30 fps with Ubersampling OFF and everything else maxed. The game often runs at 45-55 (which is what I'd expect), but the FPS drops seem to occur at random, sometimes during heavy activity but sometimes just out of nowhere, boom, 25.

I know my cards aren't the baddest in the land, but I expect better than 25-30 FPS. They're both clocked @ 850/1100mhz, processor is @ 4.3ghz, and I'm using 11.5a drivers & the patch released yesterday. Might this be fixed with another patch or a driver update?
Also, make sure you got the latest CAP otherwise CF isn't enabled. As soon as I get back home, I'll get this game and see how my 2x6850 works.

Just a heads up for CrossFireX users.

You can install the 11.5b hotfix. It enables CrossFireX for The Witcher 2 (and Brink).

I tried the game before applying the hotfix with CrossFireX enabled and the games framerate was terrible (playing with a single HD5770 was fine however). Since I installed the hotfix the game is running perfectly fine so far in CrossFireX.

Does The Witcher 2 have a screenshot function? If so which key is it and where can I find the screenshots? (Retail version)

I thought they had already released it. I didn't need to activate my copy online.
