Also @Vhati: I'm between a rock and a hard place... I have around 2 weeks left with my desktop, and the laptop I'll be using over summer can't play games, which means I can only play either TW1 or TW2. Should I definitely still go through TW1, or play through the second first and later this year do a full run-through of both back-to-back?

Only 2 weeks left to play games? Hmm go with witcher 2 for now...its highly recommended to finish the first witcher just so you understand a bit of the context and background of the Witcher world, but TW2 is amazing looking and I think you should "go out with a bang" in your last 2 weeks and experience one of the most anticipated games of the year. After you're done you can go back and TW1 to experience any missing gaps (although it won't be nearly as polished or good looking as the second one)

Steam itself is DRM. but yes, the Steam version will have Steam + Securom as DRM (only to make sure it isn't played before release date, they've mentioned removing the Securom in a later patch).

But u could always purchase it through gog.com if u have problems like that
which is 100% DRM-Free

I will likely get it on STEAM. Just really really wanted this one retail frown.gif

Ok sounds good...also do I put more money in CDprojekt's pockets if I buy from GoG versus Steam? I'd like to contribute to this wonderful developer's budget biggrin.gif

Most importantly is so that you will have a better understanding of the world and some of the people you meet. It will make the playthrough for tw2 even more personal. As you will have existing relations with various people. Some good some bad, but all based on your actions and ideas from the first game.
Okay, I'll take your word for it then.

Guess I won't preorder though, maybe I'll pick it up in the winter sale.
