Well i'm a lefty so it's either arrow keys, or the numpad...the up and down arrow keys give me an "invalid key" warning and won't let me bind it, and the numpad, which i normally use for movement just doesn't say a message at all, and won't let me use the key.

Well I just finished Witcher 1, so I will play Witcher 2 tommorrow.

Sorry I really think Witcher 1 fails as a game.

The gameplay: boring, just play some hobo running on the swamps back and forth, then talk with people, bla bla bla all you do is talk. And don't forget to wait for crap to happen so you have to click fireplace and sit and wait there like a dumb over and over and over again. Only 4 spells. just 2 armors and 2 - 3 weapons. What kind of a game this tries to call itself rpg and not have armors, epics, weaps, crossbows, armor plate ??? You can't even pick your class, such as necromancer, death knight, rouge, etc., your pretty much stuck playing some random guy, and if you don't like him, tough luck. It's more like a quest game when you just go from location to location just talking with people.

Controls: very sucky camera movement is screwed up you can barely adjust it and it always get's in the way, you can't do anything while your inventory open and my index finger hurts from having to press mouse button for movement.

Graphics: Not that bad but has a lot of copy paste houses and recycled animations, when character does autopsy they just stand there and wave their hands around

Plot: just a bunch of crap, that tries to make itself so secretive, but the ending fails to divulge any of explanation, so I was hoping that in the end you finally get your memory back and the script writers just gave me a one huge middle finger and some random people just showed up and made no sense whatsoever.

Sometimes if a lot of enemies are on you it will be impossible to do anything cause they will keep chaining attacks and u just keep staggering Game is very difficult good thing I didn't put it on hard.

Also im not sure if this is a bug but sometimes while i'm in combat and try to parry which is the e key geralt just stands there and no my keys not broken or anything like that...
The amount you parry depends on your Vigor gauge.

Okey, stayed up all night to finnish the witcher (its 7 am in the morning now and I havent slept) so I can start The Witcher 2 later today. But there are a couple of things I dont fully understand. What exactly was Salamandra and the Grandmasters plan ? What I got was that the Grandmaster had a vision of the prophecy that tells of a new iceage and he wanted to take everyone south to survive it, using mutants as guards for the journey etc. What about Salamandra, did they want the same thing, or did they just want to do some sick experiements to gain some power ? And what about Radovid, why was he in contact with Salamandra. He just wanted to marry Adda to join Temeria and Redania, but why would he need the help of Salamandra for that ?
And last, does anyone know who the assassin in the ending movie is ? All I know is, its a witcher (ze eyes !). Im thinking maybe, since TW2's undertitle is "Assassin of Kings" he has something to do with the storyline in the second game.

A lot of talking eh? I think you should go back to fps cause this is a rpg.... I don't think you should force yourself to play games if you dont like them
