Did you mean 940T? 940T is a thuban locked down to 4 cores, 640T, dont know.

I jizzed my pants--this is new, and this is EPIC, and this is prompting an early release of my "What unlocks?" list right now!

Snap, I just realized that CPU-Z shot is saying this is a 940T
Perhaps it is a misrepresented 640? Perhaps a BIOS recognition bug of sorts!?

I can confirm that this is in fact an Athlon II x4 640. ADX640WFK42GR is the part number on the CPU (look at the pic); neither ADX640WFK42GM or ADX640WFK42GI denoting C3 & C2 revision respectively. A quick google search of this part number took me to a post on CPU-world confirming that this is in fact the only Athlon II x4 that is an E0 revision, and unlockable to x6.

Athlon II x4 640's are native Propus quad cores. There's nothing there TO unlock.

Plus your CPUz shots show a Phenom II 940T, which is well known to be a locked down Thuban. I'm calling shenanigans.
