Need case advice please.

Thread Starter
Looking for a new case good size that will hold a rx360 rad in the top with push pull fans. Possibly also a rx120 or 240 rad at a later point. Budget of $100 to $200.

Also are there any cases in that price range that can hold a 4x480 up top?

Thank you

My first advice would be the HAF 932, holds a 360 rad up the top and has a huge number of fan ports you could convert to take rads.

I don't really know of any unmodded cases in that price range to take a 480 rad in the top.

I mean the corsair 700/800D can take it, but it only has fan space for 3.

I would have a look at some mountain mods cases, those would prob be best, but not cheap.

Edit:

here's a mountain mods case that will fit the 480 in the top, but it isn't in budget:

Buy a case, mod it yourself to fit any radiator you want. That'd be the only solution that satisfies you for sure and still be in budget. I'm surprised no one has created an ingenious idea that involves a case and bracket mounts that can mount any size radiators from 2 x 120mm, 3 x 120mm, 4 x 120mm, 3 x 140mm, 4 x 140mm etc... The only thing that would ever need to be changed out would be the bracket.

I think Xigmatek Elysium is the best case to suit your needs.

It can natively (without any modding) accommodate 360/420 rad in both top and bottom of the case. But as the PSU will also occupy its place at bottom (or top), you can have a top 360/420 rad and a bottom 120/140 rad (or a 240 rad depending on size of PSU), or vice versa.

In your country, it costs just around US$200.

It is a fairly new case (released last month) and so probably it has not reached any store like Newegg.

Perhaps you can ask Xigmatek for its availability.

Buy a cheap case and stick a 9x120 on the door. Sorted.

(Phobya's Nova 1080 is actually cheaper than an RX360, if I remember correctly)

I say an open box / used 700D or 800D. They can hold a push-pull config (25mm fans) in the top and the mod for the 240mm Rad on the bottom is easy (even for me ).

Talked to ximatek customer support and will be arriving instock at newegg and microcenter in 2 weeks. Thats me new case unless I find an open box 800D first.
