When did you place your order? You might be able to change it if it wasn't that long ago.

Unfortunately, I have TH10 with me and I just didn't know that MH10 does exist.

Darn! Well maybe you could get a local OCN member to do a swap Either way unless you were specifically looking for the shorter height you probably can't go wrong with a TH10

Yeah but I am strong air cooler, so I didn't need watercooling stuff. I am from Sydney. The shipping cost is quite expensive. I will try to talk to Jim about it personally.

I still prefer the shorter height. TH10 is sitting on top of my desk blocking the view from the window, I cower in fear!

Can you tell me how many fan holes in MH10 including 40mm?

I need to know before I can contact a person from siderwinder to cut down the fans cos I ordered 29 case fans.

ok total possible locations to mount are as follows.

Front PSU side = 3 fan holes
Front Motherboard side = Up to 3 Max - with accessories you would only be able to mount 2 (for example I have a DVD drive and fan controller so that leaves space for 2 more 5.25 bays and only 2 fan mounts)

On the backside of Motherboard side = qty1 120mm fan hole and depending on the motherboard you choose (you can pick standard with fanholes or with mesh) with standard it would be qty 4 of the smaller 40mm added to the single 120mm (i think as I am not placing fans on these holes for now...)

This leaves now the roof and floor panels - if you remove the blackout plates on top each side can hold 4 fans (8 total fans up top) and on the bottom you can mount 4 fans each side as well for 8 total fans on bottom.

I'll let you add up the numbers to decide how you feel about it

Take a quick peek at my sig link for more pics of the MH10 if it would help. Also you if you want/need any closer look at something on the MH10 let me know and I would be glad to take a picture or describe it more closely once I get home later today from work.

Thanks dude, I just saw your project log. It's a nice case. I just counted 27 fan holes compared to mine's 29...woah NOT much difference, eh. I don't need fan controller.

It seems TH10 looks nicer but I should have read it carefully cos I didn't see that HM10 was there --- I must be blind.

Thank you for your help on finding these fan holes. Much appreciated so.

Yep, in looks the TH10 fits the traditional appearance - the MH10 has a different shape because it is wedged in the middle so to speak. Perfect for those wanting the full sized cooling capabilities but needing to keep the case shorter (for me it was because I could fit it under my desk while I could not have done that with a T series case).

i would recommend you just get the TH10. It is massive. I'd hate to spend all that money on a case and realize it is still too small at some point in the future. And/or the pedestal is also a very smart idea.

It seems like the M8, as big as it is, still puts a lot of tradeoffs on the builder. The price difference is not a whole lot, especially when people spend all the money on a gpu that is thrown away in a year, v.s. a case that will continue to flex for a long time as your build improves.

The TH10 is more than big enough for SR2, it can easily fit 4 and even 5 480 rads and 2 more 360s on the side. So far I've been able to do everything exactly the way it wanted, and still have a ton of room going forward.

3 years ago, I went from the antec900 to an ABS canyon 595, which at the time, was a really big case. I thought it over a lot and deemed it would be a very long lasting and smart purchase. Well, $300 wasted... i fit a 240mm rad in there and that was it. It still is a big case, but it could fit inside the TH10 and still have room for other things. And again the pedestal is always an option I don't like the term future proof but I'm pretty comfortable gambling that the TH10 is up to the task.
