Will this be enough power?

Will this 400 watt psu power the following setup?


2 x 2GB DDR2 Ram
Intel Core 2 Duo e6550 - Stock clocked
Sparkle Calibre 8800 GT - Stock clocked
3 120mm Fans & 1 92mm fan.

I would appreciate any help

I have my doubts.

For starters, 130 + 251.5 =/= 400. +5VSB and -12V don't count toward total wattage rating. Not to mention it downright states it's peak rated.


So, no.

Total output is 251w via the 12v. This is very low along with low Amps. I would suggest upgrading a very good quality 550w unit.

I used cx430 for my uncles computer (SB2300, H67 mobo, hdd and dvd) and it was really quiet. But that might be because of low power consumption of whole system.

I would recommend it for budget psu
