How to get my ram to 1600mHz

can anyone please help me get my ram up to 1600mHz, i just feel like its such a waste to have bought this good ram for my computer and it only be running at 1066. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Go into your bios and change the memory ratio until it's at 1600 or less.

it gives me an option to just set it to 1600? then it says select ok to leave voltages and timings the same or select cancel for it to auto adjust. What should i do

to overclock RAM, you have to overclock CPU first. bclock x ram ratio = RAM speed.

you could also bump the RAM ratio. Maybe it's at like 2:6. Try raising it to 2:8 or 2:10

Check to see if you can manually change the memory ratio.

He doesn`t want to overclock his RAM. Just run it @stock frequency if i understood it right. But like you wrote the RAM multiplier would help you uping the MHz. Strange that the mobo didn`t set it up automaticly.
