any suggestion before modding my 3D Aurora 570?

"not my picture"

ok I'm a bit bored of this case but not willing to abandon it soon as there isn't many good choices for a new case with good price which destroyed my ambitions a bit.....

anyway I'm really a newbie at case modding but I'm really good at finding for info of (how to's) so all I need from you is your refreshing ideas

I thought of repainting my whole case to matte black but idk if that'll affect the cooling efficiency, heat is a little bit of concern to me

any thoughts?

Hmmm let's see. I actually own the same case for my current daily driver. I bought a new case for my next build but the Aurora has some possibilities . . .

My first question, is what are your future plans with it? Water cooling, dual GPU's, massive air cooler . . . or do you want something that just looks cool?

Also don't sweat the heating issue. The case is a full tower and has plenty of room for good airflow or radiators depends on what you want to do. A bit of paint or even completely sealed with foam won't effect temps as long as your cooling of choice is set up correctly.

Does the 3D Aurora projector on the front bottom edge still work?

THIS..

I do not plan for water cooling but massive dual GPUs and heatsinks are possible!

Well a couple things I would do on this case:

Easy to do
- Cut additional fan openings in the top cover.

- Mount a fan in the side panel - either lined up on your GPU's or lined up over your CPU depending on the type of cooler tower you get.

- Lighting of course

- Make a new insert for the front projector to have a logo or something personalized to you instead of the case name. For that matter, name your case, throw up a build log and make the projector say the name of your build.

A bit harder or more time consuming
- Sleeve all your cabling to match your painted color scheme (try and stick to 2-3 colors)
- install custom wiring lengths prior to sleeving.
- paint as you mentioned - pick a theme and match wiring and accents to it.
- get a design etched into the window and side light it
- do a lit PSU mod

That's all I got!
