What bios settings may hurt benching performance?

I am really stumped here. I just went eyefinity and my Heaven bench seems to be much lower than most. I got a score of 407. Before with one monitor it was 1079 at 1920x1080 which still seemed to be lower than avg. The res in eyefinity is 5960x1080. I knew it would reduce but not this much. I saw an AMD 6 core system with 1 6970 at stock clocks for everything and only 4g of ram scored 600 in a video reveiw by NCIX.

I called ASUS for my motherboard and asked if there was a BIOS setting I could change that may be holding it back. None of them actually know much of anything it seems. I called MSI to ask about it and my GPU, and they couldnt help. I have the 11.3 drivers by the way.

The computer is running in normal mode in the bios. Speed stepping is on. Ram is running at 1600mhz at 1.5v.

Would turning off speed stepping have the same affect as turning off cool and quite mode like the AMD boards have? I have seen several people say it helped a lot and their scores jumped a ton.

I am trying to figure out why the performance dropped so bad. I expected to lose some FPS in games but not this much.

Bump. Seriously need some help here as to what to do about this poor performance I am getting. Anyone have any ideas as to the speedstep feature being turned off and if it helps at all. The results screen on heaven always says that my cpu is running at 3.4ghz so it seems like it is never going into turbo to get to 3.8ghz.
