Just Hacked Apart My IHS

Thread Starter
Ok so reading the thread about shaving on 2.5mm off the ihs and what not. Ive had this in my head for a long long time and i know someone already did this. However i do not have the patience to do such a thing and took my dremel to my q6600. Turns out i didnt even have the patience to do it with that and you should see my ihs now. It is a MESS...i will get picks in a bit when im actually bothered but i left the ihs as it was and stuck it back in the pc with a lil bit of MX2 and here are my temps. Now i have to say im surprised, they are not as bad as i thought they'd be and also not far off from the perfectly lapped temps i had before this hack job....pics will follow soon.

Hmm.
Maybe you should have taken pics first before you through it in your rig.
