[QJ] Japan gets PSN back

Hirai said yesterday that they are looking at this week for the restoration of the PSN service. Looks like they're just about on the right track to getting that down because reportedly, Japan's service is already back up.

Now, we haven't heard anything exactly from Sony themselves yet, but a number of posts on Twitter and Facebook are claiming that things are indeed back to normal on the PSN front in Japan.

Now, US and UK servers are still apparently down, but it should only be a matter of time (just a few more days, hopefully, and not another week), before they keep running again.

Some are predicting that it's going to be as soon as May 3rd. Oh look, that's just practically half a day away from now! Keep those fingers crossed! As for us, we'll be keeping you up to speed on the latest PSN updates.

I think it was SOE that was hacked, not PSN. I believe SOE was mostly the MMO section of Sony. Luckily, of the 12,700 CC info compromised, only 900 were active.

It was the same attack that happened to PSN, they were able to gain access to both databases. Can't anyone read anymore?
