About to buy this build.. need last min FEEDBACK!!

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...umber=20049507

I'm buying everything tomorrow. My budget is as close to $1000 as I can get, so I'm already over budget. Let me know what you think.

I'm still looking for a case thats around $70... if you guys have any suggestions, that'd be great. I have my eyes on the CM690IIADV.. kinda want something with a side window though.

Thanks in advance!

I'll be honest,

I'd actually drop the aftermarket cooler for a 2GB 6950.... It's an extra $30 and you really wanna be going for it. I'd personally go with this motherboard as well

That way you might still be able to go with the CM212+

My 690 Adv II with window is awesome. Excellent air flow and plenty of room to WC, for a mid-tower!

I agree with going with the asus boards. Ive have had nothing but good experiences with asus products also have you looked at picking up some better fans for the 212 they can be had for an extra 8 bucks or so each and in push pull will realy help your temps.

I dont think youll need the 2gb version unless you plan on eyefinity 2gb is nice but unnecessary the performance difference between the two is negligible
