Is this good and will it work?

Hi All

Just looking at this: http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/comp...p?partid=14932

I know it says Intel... But as far as Im aware RAM works no matter what?

This will go into my sig rig below, possible replacing my GSkill 1600 9-9-9-24?

So yeah is it better than my current ram?
Will it work in my board etc?

Thanks

Yes that will work. The only reason it says intel on it is for the XMP profiles. If you don't have Intel then you don't have to worry

I wouldn't say it's better. It looks the same

It's not worth getting. However, here are some reviews of the 6GB kit if you're still curious.

Well I have been told numerous times that my current GSkill Ram has been known to be dodgy, not perform well etc... So have been looking to replace it... The link is clearance stock which is why Im interested and the timings are slightly better 8-8-8-24 instead of 9-9-9-24?

But still not worth it?

Unless it actually is dodgy and not performing well for you, I don't see a reason to replace it
Your G.Skill kit could do the same 8-8-8 timings, perhaps 7-8-7 if you push the voltage
