Help
I have been trying for days to get them stable. I cant use a 6970 bios it artifacts like mad.

What i have to use is the xfx shader unlock bios thats going round the net, that one works A1 no problems at all.
I have had the cards way past 880/1350 on a Asus bios but for what ever reason i cant get the eyefinity to work.
So what i need is my bios or another XFX6950 bios that will let me get past 840/1325 max.
I have tried to use RBE but everytime i mod my std bios or the unlocked one it BSOD when it boots.
What the hell am i doing wrong?

Maybe there actually is a reason why the were binned into 6950s instead for 6970s... It's not a guaranteed unlock even though the chances are pretty high

First, what card you have? Did you back up your original bios? I assume you have a dual bios card. There are no stock 6950 bios' that have raised oc limits. That's not how you do it. You overclock using the CCC registry hack or use afterburner. RBE isn't great as you noticed.

So have ya got your stock bios? Download the file below and follow the text instructions.

O ye i have the stock bios its all back up and sorted. I have flashed this card with over 30 Bios's
Its just a std xfx 2 gig ver1.1.

I have them running at the min @875/1369 1536Shaders (Furmark and crysis stable)
The problems start if i try and load a 6970 bios it still gives me problems if i mod the stock bios.

Like isay i have had it running on the Asus 6950 bis (unlocked shaders and Oc past 70 speeds) but for what ever reason the eyefinity wouldnt config.

What i was looking for was poss a bios (6950) that has a base set @ 6970 speeds. Ye RBE is a pain in the ass!

Ok, mod your stock bios, then use the CCC hack to bypass Overdrive limits.

Why are you using RBE?? If you want to overclock like crazy do the shader only unlock and use AB. You've only got one card so AB will be fine. I don't know why are you mucking around with all these other bios' and RBE?

Unfortunately the 6950 bios not very moddable beyond shader unlock, so finding a modded voltage bios is unlikely at this time. Are both your cards xfx, with back plate and xfx logo on the exhaust vent?
