h50 or h70? - Page 2

If its just something to hold you over until you can do full WC, get whichever is cheaper and pick up some AP-15s to pair with either.

well now there is this http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11..._Hot_Item.html which is more bang for buck imo. 30 bucks more and it seems better than h70

I put together a water loop for roughly $150. XSPC RS240 Rasa Kit, it sure does a hell of a lot better job than the h70 which is priced over $100 new anyway..

I just got the H70 for 87.00 from Newegg 3 days ago. I think the price is at 97.00 and 10.00 rebate (expired 4/30).

Not sure about the H70, but the H50 will probably be worse or at best the same as your current air cooler. It may come out slightly ahead in some situations, but it isn't a great cooler imo. My mugen 2 beats it out on both my PHII x4 and i7 920 by a few degrees C.

Really, the H70 plus 2 good fans will run $120+. Might as well get the RS240 kit for $130 or even the RS360 kit for $150. If you get the RS240, you might want to check out Petra's Tech Shop, they usual have cheaper shipping. I actually have the H70 right now and I'm returning it and getting the RX360 (fat radiator) kit. The H70 just doesn't perform well enough to justify the cost.
