They are both excellent units.

They're both very similar in performance and such, but the AX750 slightly edges out the XFX overall. The XFX is much better value, though.

There are lots of good 750w PSU's, but the best choice depends on your budget, and where you're buying it from.

BTW, if you're buying a 750w for your sig rig, it's unnecessary ~ A good 450w could power your sig rig with one 6950 easily, and 650w would be enough for CF.

Yup it's not for my sig rig, it's for a friend's. I've got a 400W powering a 6950 heh heh.. works fine.

I'm just looking for a solid, quiet PSU. I'm willing to pay for good quality though.

Really regret not having picked up a TruePower New 750 when they were going for $90. Now there was a deal. Ahh such is life.

Either of those will do you well, the problem with the XXX black edition these days is finding one. I think the X750 is cheaper than the AX750 right now, so that might be something to look into.
