MOBO gone crazy HELP

It appeared mother board went bad, did a RMA. Installed new mother board with all precautions I or a person could make. Got it running and mobo seemed to work perfect, no pic on monitor. Bios wont flash etc. Trouble shoot and Trouble shoot and move location of gpu wire harness on psu finally bios. then bios came up in some pink color and could'nt get curser to move. weird. Then keep trying moving wires etc. etc. anything possible. Then get bios to post normal, then something saying bios error, and crash. Reboot, turn off and on. Bios finally posts go to check cpu and fsb is at 652 i'm like what the funk, it will only go 652 0r 485 strange. So basically I can only run my cpu at 65xxx gb which I would like to do. But it doesn't work that way. So to verify my uneducated assumption cpu is dead. I really hope its not, mobo again, liquid pain in the a$$. I tried other sticks of memory hoping for a snow balls chance in hell it will work, no luck. Well gpu on occasion would post, go figure. All indicator lights on for cpu misleading there all on as normal. PSU powers everything up fine, some kind of voltage or amp irregularity. HELP, cant help but think its cpu

Okay rip it all out and start from scratch...
  • Lay out the bare essential components on a anti static platform (I generally use cardboard)
  • Attempt POST with RAM, mainboard/CPU, PSU & GPU card (no drives) - if successful continue
  • Attempt to POST with ancillaries attached - if successful continue
  • Reinstall in case with special attention to potential grounding hazards

As a matter of course I check the PSU voltage ranges on every build (and repair) after all a Digital multimeter (DMM) doesn't cost too much (and is easy to borrow from a friend), you may very well have a suspect CPU but arriving at that prognosis using "the process of elimination" is better (and cheaper) than throwing new parts at a problematic computer.

Yea great help at MSI, they are dreaming up what, I dont know. I think I'll just get a new cpu, RMA and buy new componets untill it works. I dont have time to do all that unless you know direct wires terminals, ohm readings, amps, volts etc. Well tried different sticks of memory and I know thats not the case try cpu etc. It just seems to me I installed it all perfect and should be able to test in case. I believe cpu is the cause. I guess not many are up to the challenge. Out on my own. If its mobo it seems like msi doesn't want to say.
