trojan.agent.ck Found By MalwareBytes

Thread Starter
Had a fishy file I downloaded mistakenly and immediately decided to scan with Malwarebytes (Quick Scan)... Found it, quarantined and deleted it. Proceeded to delete it out of the quarantine folder and then CCLeaner just to be sure.

Then I restarted and did a full scan with MBAM and nothing showed up at all.

Think I'm good? I'm super paranoid and on the verge of reformatting.

you're fine. don't worry. do you have an anti-virus you can scan with to be sure? And try running malwarebytes in safe mode

From Microsoft:
If you're that paranoid then just reformat.

Also, CCleaner doesn't do jack for viruses.

run Microsoft Security Essentials. Together with MBAM they will find most anything.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe steam.exe runs in this directory normally -> c:\programme\valve\steam\
Just have it checked out at virustotal.com

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Java\Java Update\jusched.exe

Jusched.exe runs in this directory normally -> c:\programme\java\.*\bin\
Have it checked out aswell just to be safe

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\RunDll32.exe <- its not running from a system32 bit folder have it checked out aswell at virustotal.com

C:\Program Files (x86)\Six Updater\Six Updater GUI.exe <- do you know to what this belongs to

Unknown file in Winsock LSP: c:\program files (x86)\common files\microsoft shared\windows live\wlidnsp.dl

download and install spybot search and destroy and scan your system

Then Download Lsp fix from Cexx.org and run it to fix the winsock

c:\program files (x86)\common files\microsoft shared\windows live\wlidnsp.dll

Same as above

When your done run it again and tick all the entries which say file missing and press fix.

When your done.
Go to start and enter Sfc /purgecache and then
Sfc /scannow with your windows cd in the tray
