My good old Intel laptop needs a new battery, and i cant seem to pinpoint a relliable brand. It is a HP DV6629CA.

Does this look good?

Does anybody know if the HP DV6600 series all have the same battery?

Anybody?

What should i upgrade? The full specs are:
Intel Core Centrino @ 1.5 GHZ (dual core)
2gb Ram
Intel X3100
Terrible Samsung hard disk @ 54 Mb's MAX read, avg is like 25/
(i can either take the 500gb WD blue out of the PS3, or buy a Wd Black, but loose $$)
Or get a BAttery and make it into a laptop again?

If you need a laptop go for the battery. But they are not cheap if you don`t buy crappy stuff. And the crappy stuff is a bit scary (in the worst case -> fire)
I don`t think upgrading the RAM would be a huge benefit if it is even possible...
All other parts are not upgradeable, except the hdd. But for what you would need a faster/better hdd.
But for websurfing and emails this should be good enough. Also if you main PC crashes then you would have a backup system for OCN.
Maybe you could explain what you want to do with this laptop.

Sorry for the very late response, but here are some answers.
The main thing is itunes, office, powerpoint, and internet/Mozilla. I know it could use some ram, but my main priority is the battery. I've no idea where to get a good reliable one
