Whats a good Radiator?

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a triple 120mm radiator but can't decide on one
the first one says 1000 watts heat dissipation? but the other 2 doesn't say what they are.

Help, i can't decide. or find the right information.

You want the Black Ice GTX Xtreme 360, not the Xtreme III you linked, it's an older model. The GTX360 says 1400 watts on the box, it also lists the GTS360 but I don't remember what it says.

+1 to this. It's the best performing radiator all-round available.

The radiator you choose all depends on the speed of fans you plan to use. This graphic should help. You want the shortest bar for the speed of fans you plan to use.

As you can see the Black ice gtx series radiator is the best for higher rpm fans (>1500) and starts to pull ahead with faster and faster fans. The SR-1 is the winner with the slowest fans (<800)and everything else is generally good for rpm ranges between 1000-1500rpm

Black Ice GTX360, all around best.

Six Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM fans in push/pull = best cooling with close to no noise.

fixed. Stop feeding misinformation. Gentle Typhoons are only "good" bc they have a low cfm/static pressure to noise ratio. Noise not being a factor they really aren't that good. Deltas and Panaflos are much better choices for GTX series radiators if performance is the main concern.

...Yes, which is why I said GTs are the best cooling with close to no noise.

My first statement regarding the GTX360 being all around best is because it can decently accommodate 1500RPM fans, and then greatly increases in performance at about 2000RPM and beyond. It has a large range of fans that can be used on it.
You need to pick the right rad for the fans you plan on using. The GTX360 is awesome (thats what I have) but the tightly packed fins mean you have to have faster fans (1800rpm or more) so you will have a bit more noise.

If you wanna keep it quite but still get good cooling, the Feser 360 Xchanger is awesome, and has a lower fin density so it works well with slower, quiter fans.

Does anyone sell TFC Xchanger 360 in the US anymore? I can't seem to find it at any of the usual shops... If that is the case, the XSPC RX360 performs better with mid-RPM fans anyways and is one of the lower priced options.

For sure the Microcenter by me has 2 of them in stock as of last week (I fondled both of them whilst trying to justify the purchase to myself for my GPUs)

Alas I walked out empty handed... I agree that the XSPC rad is also a great low rpm choice. They make good stuff!
