2600k slowing down - Page 2

I believe that first you benched @ 5GHz without speed step (disabled), and second time it was enabled. That makes big difference.

ok i took the battery out for like 5 hours just to clear the cmos.
redid my 5ghz overclock.
then i ran CINEBENCH_11.529 with intel speed stepping on and off
and this dont make sense.
i get a higher score with it on then off

with it on 9.87 with it off 8.67

just 7 points that with no overclock on the gpu,s cpu at 5ghz

there has to be some thing not right.

That 400 point difference is from your graphics score not the physics or combined..?

Yes it is, cause graphics test's wont stress cpu enough -> steep steps lowers clocks -> lower graphic score.

you need turbo to OC, that's how we have unlocked multiplier.
