By the way, did you update DA2 with the high details patch?
This fixes a lot of issues with DA2 and DX11, which now runs much better and faster.

Thanks to everyone for the reply .

Yes I have had Hi-res 1gb Patch for DA2. And I am running it on Very High setting with max AA , frame rate isn't too good but I didn't expect too much from my decently aged CPU. And its mostly artifact I saw , blue color paints on the wall and occasionally Empty polygons.

@I wasn't going to compare my card with the others . I knew many people ,which Infact majority of them eventually get to 1GHZ. I was not asking for that much , but the fact I failed to run the card with just 20mhz O/C on stock voltage just makes me feel very unlucky . Because this isnt the first 560ti card.

Did I mention I have tested 900 mhz on 2 x MSI 560 ti already
(both failed to ) the first one was RMA because the box was pre-owned before they sold to me. This is the second one. I do like to know aside from the card itself ,if its possible that the card inability to go O/C past factory setting has anything to do with my hardware , for example my PSU .

Maybe the PSU?

I dont think so, I ran OCCT test on PSU , didnt have much problem.

or 560w isnt enough to run the card on O/C Range ? I cant tell since I dont have a spare PSU now.

Have you tried other games besides Dragon Age 2? Try DA2 in DX9 mode and see if it still happens.

Hi , I have conducted more tests over the few days.

And because that I dont have any insanely demanding game, so I am using Dragon Age 2 as the testing game here , which I heard can be pretty demanding running at max setting.

I o/c the card to 900mhz on stock voltage

the OCCT setting as : 1920 x 1080 (my desktop reso) , Full screen , 4 shaders

Vantage / Mark 11 : both on Xtreme setting.

It seems like I have some multiples OCCT test ranging from 1 min , 5 min, 10min .
There was no error at the end of the test , and then I was running vantage and Mark 11 multiple times , looked fine too !

But when i go in game in Dragon age 2 , i started to see artifact things on the wall , and sometimes on the character itself. If I revert my card back to 880 Mhz , things mostly just work fine.

Is this possible that the problem lies with Dragon Age 2 itself ? And not my card ? It seems really silly to have seen artifact in the game but not in OCCT , Vantage / Mark 11.

Are 3DVantage/Mark 11 / OCCT a more reliable test subject than Dragon Age 2 ?
( I m stupid to ask this question but I guess I just wanted a confirmation )

Occt errors are some of the most sensitive bastards xD, if you don't get errors in that chances are you're 100% stable.

How long are you running OCCT I run mine for 2 hours to be safe for long gaming sessions.

well because I was activately monitoring the situation , I have probably ran 20 + tests of OCCT test that was 10 minutes long each ( so 200 minutes + total ) , and probably close to hundreds of others if you include 3d vantage (non looping ) and 3d mark 11 .

I was thinking buying Crysis 2 just to test the game , just a silly thought really.
