I dunno... 2 weeks ago this was on all the tech sites... do your research, Apple doesn't release on a set schedule, but it's not random either.

Laptop refresh... all sandy bridge, iMacs are due for a refresh next.

These updated iMacs are undoubtedly the best all-in-one's on the market. Apple has owned this segment for quite some time. And they're arguably the best desktop you can buy now, as well.

Apple has driven a lot of amazing tech to the desktop... I don't miss serial ports or floppies, and would love to see thunderbolt be a huge hit. I'm glad they they are not in a race to the bottom and they and their customers appreciate a quality OS and hardware.

Some out there will deride apple hardware buyers as "fandbois and iDiots". Please check out caltech, mit, stanford etc CS majors and CS professors. A large percentage of them are buying Apple hardware. Are they carrying and using OS X hardware because its pretty?
