You could even make it into a nice emulator machine if you wanted.
Be creative!
I already have an htpc... I want to sell it to help fund my BD rig in June

Nope, its worth about $300 mate, only the Q6600, gt240 and ram would make any sort of money.

It's obviously going to sell for more than $300 on kijiji.. It's worth $300 on here maybe. But on kijiji it's worth much more. And this is Canada, computers and parts are more expensive here. I have it up for $550 right now, if there's no takers it will sell for $500 I'm sure. People don't know the difference between an oem part and a retail part, they're not going to be overclocking lol. Oh well...

BUT maybe you guys are right and I'll only be able to sell it for ~$300.

Anyway, you may be able to get more money from parting out most of the parts. Not quite sure what most of them sell for though since some are pretty old
Actually... Its a conservative majority.

You can try, but people are cheap on Kijiji. Horribly Cheap. You would have an easier time selling the monitor and computer separately.

Keep in mind for 500 you can buy a system like that at Walmart, easily or even a half decent laptop. You should have just held onto the money, since that 300 would have been the processor easily.
