Try looking at your logs based on billing periods instead of monthly.

I'm on 105/10 with Mediacom, and I used 2.13TB down and 1.47TB up between April 1st and April 30th. I've never been called.

Well, I just went back to look at that, and it can't be based on billing periods. My billing period for April doesn't officially end until 5/09. And they've already started a new data usage meter for May. It would appear as if they are showing data usage based on the calendar month.

Grew up in Iowa (just south of where you are) and had Mediacom service comparable to my current Comcast service, and yes, they never once worried about my cap. Comcast contacted me once 2 years ago, nothing since.

What really sucks is that you can't ask Comcast without bringing attension to your over usage. If you even have that is...but I am sure it won't take much for them to think you did if they can assign a fee for it.

but if you have logs from previous months you should try to add it up and compare it to what comacast adds up in that time span. That should remove the periods not matching up. For now though, you could try and start the logging in DD-WRT to match your billing cycles for future info.

Yeah, I agree, the most likely reason is you are looking at two different time intervals. Would be the logical reason.
