thinking about upgrading sigrig to a i5 2500k, unsure atm

but about wat kind of ppd should i be getting at 4.5ghz - 5ghz ( havnt really looked into the ocing side of 1155, but heard its pretty good, n seen mostly 4.5ghz to 5ghz oc's )

mmm, probably 17.5-21k ppd. Based on my experience so far. I've been folding on 4.8 ghz mainly though for 24/7 folding.

Yeah if you can afford to fold 24/7 with a reasonable high core speed you can pull 40k+ PPD if you run bigadv in linux/wine.

I get 17-21k depending on the wu at 4.6/4.7 ghz using SMP client

edit: keep getting these silly 10115 WUs @ 11m tpf so nearer 17k
