This doesn't even look remotely like Crysis 2 "good".

I hope that 5850 "reccommeded spec" is complete BS if that only allows 720p res max out settings @ constant 30FPS.

I don't want games that push hardware for the sake of just doing so specially if it looks mediocre. (well this doesn't look along the lines of TW2 or Crysis 2).

You've got to be trolling. Nobody wants this one to be like the second. Everyone ive seen who said they liked that one still didn't want the new one to be like it. Even the directors admitted they messed up on that one.

Anyway, I don't know how high minimum requirements is a good thing. Good engines should scale well, be at least playable on crap computers, and look great on better ones.

These system requirements are a mixed bit of news. The relatively low ram requirement along with the CPU requirement at the higher end of what I would call average, suggest it is a console port (we knew this anyway). On the other hand, its probably not a straight port, most console ports have lower graphics card requirements than this, possibly suggesting that it wont be a straight port, and will use some pc only features. Recommended of win7 and 5850 might mean that it will make use of direct x 11. (In fact I think EM announced it will support dx11.)

Only time will tell if they have done a good job engine wise though.

Heh 2nd one has nothing on the first one. They had some decent ideas in it, but it had NOTHING on the first one.

I could care less about the graphics on this game, as long as it plays well.

Maybe they are just being reasonable with recomendations since a lot of recomendations I've seen have been severe understatements.

They went from 2ghz dual core to a phenom x4 and a C2Q?

I guess I'm kinda halfway? I hope my 5770 will be able to max out minus AA/AF

i think a 5850 will max out the game no problems, just looking at it. Either those are console pics or we have ourselves another port
