Cooling my GPU's

Thread Starter
So, I have 2x HD6950 directcu ii cards. If I were to replace the coolers, with GPU only blocks, how would I go about cooling the other components on the board? The pcb is not reference, thats why I can't do a full cover block.

You can get small stick on heatsinks for the ram and vrm's, I believe copper ones are the recommended style.

I believe they make blocks to fit the non-reference cards (though you should check to make sure it fits those specific cards). If so, go full cover non-reference. If not, you can go with a universal like Swiftech's MCW82 and some enzotech or another brand of heatsinks applied to whatever used to be cooled by the stock cooler.

Here are links to some heatsinks that would work on RAM & VRM. You can always Dremel them to fit. If they fall off, you can use a thermal adhesive. Good luck.
