So, what are your ideas of folding on a laptop? I'm currently folding on my laptop 24/7 since it's on usually 24/7.

Just keep an eye on your temps.

If you are ok with the temps then go for it.
I personally wouldn't unless it has up to date specs like a mobile i5 or i7.

Got an Intel core 2 duo T5750 2Ghz. Temps are around 70-80c. 60-70c with cooling pad.

Doesnt thermal protection kick in at 80 or 85C on those? At least thats what it is on my T5800 2ghz which i believe is the same chip

Kicks in at 95-100c. Usually when I hit 100c It just auto shuts off.

Used to fold on Asus G51VX. T9600 OCed to 3.2 gets me 3000ppd, GTX 260m got me 4000PPD.
