That PARTICULAR problem for me, usually has been cables.
Don't think it's the cables or the ports, I've been swapping them all around pretty freely and every other drive works fine. It's gotta be the controller on the busted drive.

C'est la vie... I'll be spending the next few hours getting windows fixed; my users folder was on that drive too

I'm still confused on how fast people go through hard drives here.

All 3 of my drives have over 60k+ power on hours logged and they're all still kicking.

EDIT: One of my drives has close to 100k power on hours. The other two are a hair under 30k power on hours.

My bad. Heh.

Though, my 500GB is on it's way out. The readings are surreal. :\\
