Bingo. That's the problem. The hot air should not be expelled into the case. turn those fans over and make them suck air down out of the case.

be realistic please , u make yourself look dumb .

i guarentee if he replaces his pump , and connects it correctly to the 12v line .. problem fixed .
I wrote, turn v-sync on. not off. Learn to read and write better because your spelling makes you look very dumb.

v-sync will limit fps to 60 on a 60Hz monitor. In many games, especially with a highly overclocked i7-2600k, this will greatly reduce heat output from the GTX 580.

If he has proper exhaust flow out from the case his current fan setup is good. Colder air from the outside will provide better cooling via the radiators. If the airflow is impeded to the bottom rad that can cause issues.

I was thinking something was up with that

One thing you can try is finding something to add some space between the case and the floor itself (a couple books or something around the front and rear edges or the corners) to see if the extra air movement helps. higher temps on a 240 rad I can see, just not with 2x 240 radiators.
that's worth a try

sure it will drop the temps , by a fraction .. not enough to make his loop completely overheat and **** itself .

i understand what ur saying but its irrelivant .

im not saying ur wrong , but in this situation i dont think that will do anything to help him .

Here is the part that is going to throw some people. I don't think you need to reset you blocks. It would be different if your temps where high and the loop was staying cool. but you are getting heat transfer so that is not the problem. Since you had good temps and they seem to get worse over time that would lead to poor flow. There a a few things that can do this. One would be putting dye in your system. From the look of your res you don't have any of that in your system. Now We have water flow issues. I don't see the pump anywhere in your system. So this leads me to think you have a res with a built in pump, now some of these are ok and others are not great. Seeing as you have a single din res, the ones that I know of that have the built in pump are not that great. They tend not to push as much water because they are not designed for 2 120 rad and 2 block. Since it had to work so hard they tend to die faster, so it sounds like your pump is coming to the end of its life.

Can you see any turbulence in your res.? Your setup looks fine and dandy as far as airflow, unless ambient is way high.

Even with the MCP355 you should be able to see the water turbulence in the res. If you see non, it's your pump, or something restricting flow at some point in the loop.

Just a thought, if there is a problem with the pump, wouldn't the heat just keep on increasing over time instead of capping at a certain temperature?

Not necessarily, at some point you'd reach a thermal equilibrium.

Just like something falling down a bottomless pit would eventually reach terminal velocity.
