Power Supply Needed

Thread Starter
Hey Guys,

My Corsair I just received was DOA and I returned it to the local store I bought it from and they have none left.

I'm going to order a new power supply on NewEgg for the system in my signature.

Also, I want a big enough power supply to add another GTX 560 for SLI in the future.

Any suggestions on which power supply I should get? Cheap as possible yet not garbage!

I'd go for a 600w~ PSU off of this list:

Cheapest possible to do that, that's not garbage, is the Rosewill Green Series 630W, at $50 after promo code:

You'd need to use molex -> PCI-E power adapters for SLI. Note that this may possibly be an issue if you're really pushing the GTX 560s hard, since the peripheral connectors are thinner 20AWG instead of 18AWG wire. Review:

Are you guys positive? I currently have a 650W CoolMax in my other build and it wouldn't handle 2x 5830's.

I REALLY REALLY don't want to run into this again.
