Need some overclocking help (Socket 775)

Thread Starter
Just got some high performance RAM, so I will be able to overclock further (my previous set was at it's limit, and the dividers wouldn't go any lower). I'm familiar with the basics (VCore, FSB, RAM Dividers, etc.), but I have never messed with the more advanced voltages. Here's a list:

SB Core/CPU PLL (1.51v)
NB (1.42v)
CPU VTT (1.3v)

Clockgen
GTL+ Buffer
Host Slew
CPU Spread Spectrum
PCIE Spread Spectrum
SATA Spread Spectrum
Clock VCO Divider

I'm wondering what all these do, and what I would have to adjust to achieve a higher overclock. The RAM is no longer the issue, and I was able to OC by another 200MHz or so, but after that I hit a wall where increasing the CPU VCore did nothing. It shouldn't be a CPU wall, as it was booting fine with 1.35v @ 4.3, but as soon as I go to 4.4, even 1.45v won't boot. The RAM is 300MHz underclocked. The only thing I can think of is NB voltage, etc, but I have no idea how to go about doing this. Any tips appreciated, thanks!

"high performance ram" is a relative term. More specifications would be nice to know.

Speed, timings, voltage, ect.

^^yea, what RAM are you talking about?

You may have reached your CPU's limit.

Either way, decrease your multiple to 6x and see if you can boot stable at the FSB that wouldn't run 4.4. Run Prime Blend 4+ hours to see if your RAM/NB fails while taking the CPU out of the equation.

1066MHz and 5-5-5-15 timings @ 2.1v. RAM is out of the equation, since they are currently running at 900.

I will get back on the lower multiplier.
