Silverstone FT02 (best suited motherboards)

Thread Starter
Sorry, i do not have a list of best suited 1155 mobo's for this case, rather, i have a few queries on which one i should choose.....

through other helpful posts ive found out that there were issues with the Gig P67 UD7's PCIe slots not lining up, or rather the 1st slot on the board lined up with the 2nd in the case..... rendering the last slot on the board useless. i was informed that this is only a concern for quad sli??

I would appreciate any suggestions as to which 1155 mb's are best suited for the ft02 and that can allow the maximum for sli, but most importantly, Ones that fit smartly with this case
thanks to anyone who replies
cheers

ASUS p8p67 WS Revolution allows for tri sli which is the most you're going to fit in this case :-) that would be my vote from personal experience

I owned the FT02 before I went to water cool (same motherboard as I have now)......you should be looking at the P67 ATX motherboards or the new upcoming Z68 ATX motherboards which both work with the LGA1155 socket which your 2600K is based on (though if you are only gaming, I would recommend the 2500K which is $100 less). I will also recommend getting a heatsink like the Noctua NH-D14 or the Thermalright Silver Arrow since they perform much better than the H70. Oh and what is your budget for the motherboard?

Click on the P67 or Z68 sections, ALL of these motherboards will be fine with the FT02:

i have the RAVEN RV02-E which is basically the same layout on the inside as FT02. Any ATX standard size will fit, but for something like tri-sli/crossfire, you may need to look closely to the pciex layouts since the HDD cage extends close to a mobo when it is installed. Possible dual slotted videocard on the last PCIEX may hit the HDD Cage and not fit.

I ddon't understand what you're talking about. In this photo of a P67A-UD7-B3 in a FT02 the board fits fine like it is suppose to when put into any old case....slots are only rendered unusable like they would be on any board in triple-GPU.

Your attitude does you no credit. Any old board should fit in any box...and the box should not be informing your motherboard choice. The Silverstone 90* boxes are kinda nice-I went through 3 boards from AMD/Intel in my RV02 before my MountainMods came along.
