so i have a few issues with fan thickness:
i couldnt mount my CPU fan on the right, because it was blocking RAM slots. so i was forced to attach it to the left hand side, opposite the cases exhaust fan.
My question is, is this bad practise? will this have an adverse effect on my system?
My average idle temp is under 30 degrees. I have not checked load yet, but the fans dont ramp up at all when running S2TW, with the CPU fan set to dynamic.
also, on the side panel is an additional two slots for fans, but the stock Zalmans were too thick for the CPU cooler and wouldn't fit. Would it be a good idea to get some slim fans, and point them down at the CPU cooler for better temps, and another at the GPU? should i use them as an intake or exhaust?
or should I look at reversing the exhaust and intake fans, so that the air flows in more of a linear fashion?
