OUT of sata prots?

I am out of sata ports on my motherboard, is there an inexpensive way to add more?

Also will they be SATA II? or SATA III?

Add on card?

This particular one is SATA II but they come in both SATA II and SATA III flavors

Get a PCI or PCIe SATA card. You can get SATA 3Gb/s or 6Gb/s ones.

However, you may want to review your current drives and consider consolidating them.
