I'd go with a 1TB Samsung F3.

Get rid of the memory, go with some Gskill Ripjaws 1600Mhz@7-8-7-24

Maybe go with the P8P67 to save some money there. The sabertooth might be a little overkill for your needs and the P8P67 is a great overclocking board.

Thanks for the input, what HDD controller should i use?

the on board one, it doesn't really matter with mechanical drives to be honest. The only drive that I know of that has a considerable difference between the SATA II and SATA6GB/s is the intel drives.

P.S Great build other than the things I mentioned. I'm pleased you're not goign with an i7 for gaming.

What is the exact model of the PSU. You might be able to go with a 650w PSU and save some money there.

Heres the link to the psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139025

And I am quite new to everything so its going to be a bit difficult putting everything together myself, but I am quite excited to get into this and maybe eventually start overclocking after obtaining some knowledge. Thanks for the help btw.

I would probably go with either teh TX650V2 or the HX650. Both are great units and are a bit cheaper than the one you linked.

That's just me but maybe you can get phaedrus to have a look in the power supplies forum.

I just think there is going to be something better for your money, and 800w is overkill even with SLi or Xfire in there.
