Just played over an hour Bad Co 2 and NO ISSUES. Looks like I got a stable OC.
The switch is in the first, quiet, position.
The card did get up to 84c... with fan profile active.
Congrats on the new card.
I'll bet you can get the Core to 1000 with a lot less voltage which will reduce your heat. Mine is stable at 1000 with core voltage at 1250 after Unigine runs and hours of Bad Company 2 and Starcraft 2. I think I may be able to get away with slightly less voltage.
I am jealous of your memory overclock though.
I haven't even tried 1500. Looks like you got one of the top 1 percent of cards in that respect. A lot of the more recent reviews with retail available cards I've read (like the hardocp review http://www.hardocp.com/article/2011/..._card_review/8
) can't even get the memory past 1450 with lots of voltage. I have to add voltage to keep the memory stable above 1400. I'm not at my PC now. Is 1179 max aux voltage? I haven't really tried out the first BIOS setting yet. I've never gotten the core over 75C with Kombustor Extreme Burn-In with the performance BIOS. I wonder if the only difference in the two BIOSs is the fan speed setting?
Again, glad to hear you got a better card with RMA.
