Will there be any decent gaming netbooks under 11 inches soon?

Sort of like an Alienware M9x :3. Imagine if that existed...

But seriously, when will some hardcore GPU's go into netbooks? I'm not talking about weak GPU's like ION and E-350, I mean things like a smaller version of the ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 that can at least run all of your games in low to medium settings.

Is any company working on something like this, and if so, when will they be released?

lol ION GPU is actually a beastly GPU for a netbook (9400m), had a HP Mini 311 and it ran most games, some you had to turn down to low settings for 30fps, but others you could run native resolution - it was mostly CPU limited.

Gaming netbooks don't and will never exist. The M11X is not a netbook. It makes no sense to stuff a mid-range laptop GPU into a 9" or 10" chassis. I doubt manufacturers would ever make something like this.

AMD's first product of that sort is the E-350, and it will only get better. And the mobility 3650 isnt really very high performance, I doubt the 6310m in the E-350 is that far off of that now

I would say in about 2 years you will start seeing some pretty respectable graphics performance out of these low power chips

This i think the mx11 is just the right size for an ultra portable with some gaming capabilities. Much smaller than than and the screens just get too small imo.

MX11 for gaming on the go its probably as close as your going to get to a gaming netbook and at $600 there not priced badly either

3650m was an insane GPU. Ran Crysis at medium settings, MW2 and BO @ maxed, all Source games at maxed, etc.
