i5 2500 non k overclocking - Page 2

well my ram and gpu stays pretty cool at 105 bus so who knows
but it does freeze instantly when higher then 105, how do I prevent this?

this is my first build and OC'ing

I dont think you can prevent it. Some chips will go higher than that before freezing. But if your rig is freezing up even after vcore increases, then you are probably at the limit.

i got mine just a bit over 4ghz but my computer freezes in like 5 mins after i get into windows, http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1801462

here's a screeny i was able to take right before my computer froze

is there any tweaking i could do to prevent the freeze?

Hi, I was searching what I can get out of my standard 2500, This is my first ever build and I have the p8p67 Pro B3 revision and it has a auto tune tool which got mine running at about 4118mhz tops which I thought wasn't too bad for saying it is 'locked'.

I didn't touch the BLCK or whatever that thing is called...

It's still running now, no problems, so if anyone on this post has problems and has the ASUS , I suggest the auto tune on the ASUS Suite that comes with the board and select extreme

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get even more out of this beast of a cpu then leave me a reply
