Crossfire Sapphire 6970+EAH6950 DCII Overclocking

Hi guys! I would like to ask you for help.
I've got two cards in crossfire setup where Sapphire HD 6970 is in the first slot and the Asus EAH6950 DCII/2DI4S/2GD5 in the second one. I can change the core voltage, core frequency and memory frequency on that Sapphire card easily (using Afterburner 2.2.0 Beta 1). I can even change the frequencies on the second card but I cant change the voltage on the second card.
Like I said I'm using Afterburner but this program cannot change voltage on that Asus non-reference card. So I've tried to run Smartdoctor utility but it keeps saying that I've got no Asus card connected so I've flashed the Sapphire card with Asus 6970 reference bios and that way I was able to run Smartdoctor. But I can't select the second card in Smartdoctor utility.
I've tried even changing the bios voltage settings using RBE but when I flash that Asus card with that edited bios it shows me a blue screen in the moment I boot up.

I can't figure out how to increase the core voltage on that second card so I'm asking you for help

Should be available through Smartdoctor for all I know.

Maybe try changing slots?

I can't change slots because I need some space between cards (here is picture http://www.zeifart.borec.cz/cfff.jpg)
I've tried to change slots and it worked great but the temperature of the top card was too high (there wasn't any space between them)

Sounds like a weird problem...

Does it work if you swap the cards? I know your top card will have no room for breathing, but does it work that way?

You could always edit the BIOS and make a custom bios with a specific OC for both cards and set both to same clock with a bios flash.

here's picture of my situation http://www.zeifart.borec.cz/gpuuucopy.jpg
both setups are "crysis ready" if you like but there's no room for overclocking (on the solution B)

I've changed the core voltage using RBE on that asus card, but when I reach the point where you can see Welcome sign in the windows it will pop up a blue screen

I know how it looks, what I'm asking you is, in the B picture, does the voltage increase work in the Asus? Or still doesn't?

That's very weird, I don't know what could be the issue.

Have you tried taking the Asus off and sticking it back again?

yes, I believe that I've tried everything... Afterburner doesn't support the voltage regulators on that Asus non-reference card apparently and with this combination of cards it's a dead end
only possible way that might work is to somehow set the vcore in bios but like I said - blue screen (it's possible that I'm doing something wrong but set the value from 1.1 to 1.2, then save it and then use it to flash the card isn't that complicated)

MSI Afterburner DOES support the DirectCU cards, all of them! (Including GTX570, GTX580, HD6950, HD6970).

I have a friend with a Sapphier HD6950 DirectCU II and he got it up to 850/1400 with MSI Afterburner, I don't know why you're having that problem though.
