Umm... You can move everything to a secondary display.

Its very simple, Make eyefinity group the primary, than unlock the taskbar and move it to the secondary along with the icons.

Heck thats what i would do with a setup like his. that wayi can game and still see everything else on the secondary.

hmm. thanks for the info im gonna have to try that out. can i use the hdmi port on my card for this or will i have to use the other mini-dp port for this? at this point im hooked up using 2 x dvi and 1 x mini-dp. so i have another mini-dp and an hdmi left over. is there any reason why i wouldnt want to use 2 x mini-dp and 1 x dvi for my eyefinity group? (tearing or any other weird stuff) that way it would be easier getting a 4th screen as i could just use the dvi.

The card only has 2 clock generators. So you can have a max of 2 screens that require that, AKA HDMI and DVI-D. Thats why a DP or active DP adaptor is required for the 3 screens or more.

So yeah you will need to use the other DP port for the 4th sceen if your are already using both DVI-D ports. Or like you said with The group off of both DP ports and one DVI-D port.

shouldnt you be able to run the 4th screen off your second 5850? they only all need to be pluged into a single card for eyefinity not extended desk tops, unless im mistaken, dont realy know as im running e6 cards.

you could always test it by setting up a duel screen eyefinity and the 3rd screen as extended desktop off your second card.

So you can run more displays off of a second card in crossfire now? redface.gif I always thought that the second cards dispay outputs didnt work in crossfire. But that was old news... are the new ones different or is that a driver thing?

I just assumed this would be something they would have fixed in the last 5 years tongue.gif
