[FZ] THQ reports $136 million loss - Page 5

THQ's stock fell 26% after Homefront was released.

Thats what happens when you over-hype your games.

And no, I am not blaming just piracy. They did release bad games.
The you mentioned is one of worst games i played last year

Bad games are bad. I don't even know what Warhammer is. I knew Homefront was trash though.

Save yourselves any future cash losses and stop making Smackdown VS Raw games. Permanently. Because they suck. Sell your license to EA or someone else who will be up to the task of milking the WWE franchise for all eternity. Glad you're going bust, that's what you'll get for crap support for your even crappier games.

THQ and their fans blame it on the pirates, haha. Typical. What self-respecting pirate would waste his HDD space on this garbage?

And pirates have better aftersales (or after-give-out?) support than you morons ever will. I made the mistake of buying your garbage games (Red Faction I/II) during a Steam sale and am still looking at a freaking "Unable to find Red Faction II disc 1" error, you absolutely lazy bunch of imbeciles.

Piracy figures are a measure of a game's popularity, not a measure of lost sales.

Quick! Lets all get excited about a single number from a budget report without looking at the other numbers. $136M loss isn't a big deal if their revenues are up and they spent more this year by creating new games like Homefront.

I mean take a look at this years games they are producing:

MX vs. ATV Alive - garbage
Red Faction - could be ok.
Rio - ....seriously?
Saints Row - Will definitely be disappointing on PC again.
Hugo Cabret - ... again seriously?
UFC Trainer - garbage
Warhammer - never played any of them.
You don't know Jack - Is this 1995?
2 Wrestling Games -
Nicktoons Unleashed - my god

Point being is what do you expect when you're producing garbage, you will get garbage in return.
2 wrestling games? Um, two things. First, WWE sold 4 million units last year as some rehashed crap. I believe the technical term for those kinds of games are "cash cows". They have had so freaking many of them. Second, UFC isn't professional wrestling. Comparing the WWE to the UFC as wrestling is like comparing CS:S to Minecraft as an FPS.

That's the point. They didn't even make Metro 2033, they just published it and cashed in on someone else's (some Ukranian developer) hard work. And they're STILL losing money.

/facepalm

LOL THQ when was the last time they made a game that wasnt garbage? seriously? Im not a pirate at all but the fact that pirates would be blamed for something like this is ridiculous......if they made good games, then they wouldnt be having trouble......i mean come on THQ doesnt even have its own version of CoD where it can just reskin it every year and make 23589272689768927 dollars becuase consol kids are idiots.......unless you want to count the UFC and Wrestling games...but they havent been good since like.....1999
