Major PC upgrade (~£500) - Page 2

Thread Starter

Here's the current basket, I think I'll wait a generation or two to jump on the SSD wagon. They just are too expensive/gb for me right now and given the pace at which they're developing I think I'll wait for SATA3 to become standard.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll hopefully be ordering tonight.

Get the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ and grab a couple of Cooler Master SickleFlow fans both in the Today's only section! Far better than AC Pro 7 v2.

For cooling I would suggest the 212+ or if your looking for something better, either the silverarrow or noctua dh-14. So far basket is looking good, Are you looking to buy everything from scan?

Agree, that Hyper 212+ is the best for the price.

Don't grab that Freezer 7, it simply sucks.

Most likely he'd get everything from Scan. He's qualified for free next working day delivery.

Why? Not worth it unless you really like the looks of it...

I'd save those 13 pounds and spend them on something else like a new GPU in future.

What is wrong with the world if the ACF7Pro is no longer the budget CPU cooler of choice?

Quickly checked some reviews (which I probably should have done to start with) and I just phoned up scan and asked them to change the order to the 212.

It's all coming on Monday, very exited!

Congratulations, enjoy it!

The best budget cooler right now is definitely the Cooler Master 212+, it has incredible performance for such a cheap price!
