Ouch! Do you at least get TV and phone in the same package or is the 80 Euros only for Internet access ?

This is amazing, but considering I cannot have this package with an ISP, I'm happy with a £30 per month, 40 Mbps package.

Their cheeziest plan is three times faster and one third the price of the most premium package available in this country. I wonder if Lithuana has capping, because if they had the same caps they have here, they would run into that cap in a little over thirty minutes...

That was the initiative from a Mayor from one of the cities (Cascais) near the capital. The Finns already responded with something a little less elaborate, but nice nonetheless.

But what does politics have to do with this thread or this forum, I ask ?

P.S. Back on topic: The fiber optics is real. We didn't make that up LOL.

I don't know what history or geography have to do with politics either. It is off topic but I want to ask you a question out of sophistry. If you taught the english how to drink tea. Then the english traded silver for tea the only thing china would accept. Then when the english got mad because the addictive tea was too expensive and they used a gold standard and didn't monetize silver. So they parked ships off of china and flooded the place with opium and started sucking the silver back out.
So I was wondering did you also invent drug wars?

Politics, history, psychology everything is on topic because it's all inter related. The internet and global communications is happening during a shift from common law to maritime law. Under common law you took ownership of something because you traded real hard currency for it. You'll notice under the computer industry you don't really own anything. You buy a license without any transfer of ownership. You're not given documentation about how it all works. There's all the talk of piracy on the internet another maritime law concept.

So historically speaking in that perspective did luthiana just put some big sails on a boat for better "piracy".
If aristotle said we live in a sea of air. Is the internet a sea of electrons and routers are just the trade routes? Isn't it weird how language works. Rig is a nautical term. It got transfered to trucking industry where your truck is called a rig or a big rig. People on OCN call their computers their "rig". The sea is the emotional domain, the land is the hard dry physical domain. The sea is washing over the land as maritime law washes over common law. The movie about bill gates and steve jobs is called the "Pirates of Silicon Valley" not the "Theives of silicon valley". Thief would be a land term and indicated common law. Pirate is a nautical term and indicates maritime law. Society is becoming a bunch of boats on land. Anybody ever heard that song I'm on a boat? Amazing what you can figure out with a slightly off topic discussion with a portuguese. You guys rock at boats and live next to the most beautiful shoreline.

Haha, that would be true, however, there are absolutely no caps whatsoever smile.gif In fact, I can't really think of a Lithuanian ISP that caps bandwidth at all (excluding mobile internet, of course). Maybe, in some rural areas, I don't know...
